Trip to Tenerife: October 2012

The club will have a special trip in 2012 to the beautiful island of Tenerife. We will be staying in Puerto de la Cruz which is further north than the usual holiday spots and is situated in ideal walking terrain. The dates are 29 Sept to 6 Oct and we will be staying on a half board basis in the Catalonia Las Vegas Hotel. All rooms are ensuite with a balcony. The total cost will be £540 pp for a twin room and £585 for a very limited single room. There will also be around 60 euros to pay once we are at the resort and this will cover the cost of local transport. This trip is now full.

MAY WEEKEND 2012

The May Weekend 2012 walking holiday will be to the Royal Hotel, Whitby on the Yorkshire coast from Friday, 4th May to Monday, 7th May. There will be an excellent opportunity for walking on the spectacular coast which inspired the novel 'Count Dracula' by Bram Stoker and also walks on Yorkshire Dales, home of 'Last of the Summer Wine' and 'All Creatures Great & Small'! The total cost of this 4-day, 3-night DB&B is likely to be around £185 which is a little more than our recent trip but still represents excellent value for money. There is now a waiting list. Please contact Gordon for further details.
